We seek to provide unique environments where participants cultivate a relationship with God, explore their faith through group and individual discipleship, volunteer in community outreaches, work on summer projects, and so much more. We challenge you to give God an entire summer and see what he does with it. You won’t be disappointed!
Location. Gaithersburg Campus.
Typical Schedule. Monday - Thursday: 10am to 4pm || Sunday: attend one, serve one.
Prayer. Each day begins with a time of worship and prayer. You'll learn to prioritize time with God as a core value for your life. Some of the most life-changing moments happen during morning worship times!
Classes. Class sessions provide a venue to explore your faith in an interactive environment. Sessions, taught by COR staff members, focus on leadership, biblical studies, and practical living and are coupled with group discussion and activities to reinforce concepts.
God's Word. You will engage in an eight-week Bible-reading plan designed to give a foundational look at what the Bible teaches. You will also memorize verses, internalizing them and allowing God’s Word to abide in you.
Book study. You will read a relevant book designed to propel you toward the calling God has for your life. You'll dig in every week and have an opportunity to process what you're learning in a large group setting.
Practical discipleship. Guys and girls will be placed in Crews, which focus on creating authentic relationships, providing a place to process what God is doing in your life, and praying for one another.
Church life. Deluge exists to prepare students for a life rooted in Christ and His Church. You'll have opportunities to work with COR’s children, youth, and young adult ministries to build a foundation of serving in the local church. This is a great avenue for you to use your gifts and talents for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
Team time. Relax and unwind while developing relationships through sports, games, and other activities.
