GOD HAS CALLED EACH OF US TO SERVE OTHERS and reach the world around us with the love of Christ. Our mission is to be Jesus’ hands and feet, bringing the hope of the Good News through acts of service. Our heart is to minister to the lost, hurting, hungry and homeless in our community. Most of all, our heart is to champion the cause of Christ and make His name known. Get involved in what God is doing in our community and make a difference in the lives of others through ongoing outreach opportunities at Church of the Redeemer.

Hebrews 6:10 says, "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them." Here’s a wonderful and new opportunity for you to share God's love outside Redeemer walls. Be a part of our volunteer team at the Frederick Community Health Fair, Saturday, October 28 from 11 am to 3 pm on the Great Frederick Grounds. You’ll have the opportunity to help those less fortunate apply for medical assistance and educate them about the variety of services provided by the city of Frederick. Many are without health insurance. Be a helping hand to those in need. Volunteers should meet at the Frederick campus at 9 am.

Military
spacer_60px.png
Our military outreach team plans activities throughout the year for the purpose of ministering to active duty military and veterans. These are often planned around major federal holidays such as Memorial Day or Veteran’s Day. Activities include writing letters to military overseas, raising money for military families in need, cleaning up tombstone wreaths at military cemeteries, and so on.

Emergency Response Team
spacer_60px.png
Our local Red Cross warehouse stores much of the supplies and equipment needed to provide to the community when there is a disaster or emergency such as a fire or weather-related issue. Red Cross needs volunteers to help clean, prepare, pack and organize equipment and supplies, so they are prepared for these unexpected emergencies. This is an opportunity to bless an organization that helps our community in times of need. Sign up for this team to receive updates about opportunities to serve throughout the year.
