LifeGroup Leader

What is a LifeGroup Leader?
Even though all LifeGroups aren't the same, every group spends their time together in a similar way. Groups will often hang out, connect with each other (usually involves food), discuss God's Word, and pray for each other.

Outside of the LifeGroup meetings, every group seeks to regularly serve and care for the community by extending the love of Jesus beyond the walls of our church. LifeGroups meet in homes, coffee shops, and other places throughout the community.
As a LifeGroup leader, you will help plan and facilitate these meetings!

Leader Resources

Equip Leaders

To be an effective LifeGroup leader, we believe you must exemplify 4 essential attributes. Pastor Dale has identified these essential attributes using the acronym L.E.A.D.

L = Love God, people, and the Church.
E = Set an Example that will inspire and motivate others.

A = Be Attentive to your ministry responsibilities.
D = Focus on Development - develop yourself and the people you have been given responsibility to serve and lead.

This page is designed to provide tools that will assist you with your LifeGroup ministry responsibilities.

2016 LifeGroup Leadership Conference
We kicked off our first LifeGroup Leadership Conference on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Clarksburg Campus. Executive Pastor, Dino Tortorelli set the tone for the conference by speaking about being, "Motivated To Multiply." Thereafter, we focused on three key life group leaders' responsibilities (Assimilation, Group 2.0 and Multiplication Plan) that, performed well, will ensure that the ministry operates effectively and that we accomplish the vision of moving people into healthy life group communities. We shared testimonies, challenges and accomplishments. It was a great time where we enjoyed food, each others' company and networked. See below for the agenda and documents shared:

- LifeGroup Leadership Conference Agenda

- Listen to: LifeGroup Leadership Conference messages

- Motivated To Mulitply: "What does multiplication have to do with faithfulness?"

- Assimilation: " Just what does it mean to assimilate?"

- InFellowship Group 2.0: "How can you know if you don't account for it."

- Multiplication Plan: "Growth will not happen if you're not intentional about achieving it."
