Upward Sports Basketball
When is a game more than just a game? Upward Sports Leagues offer incredible Bible-based team sports for kids in Grades K-5. While they learn the skills of the game, they're also learning sportsmanship and valuable principles from God's Word.
The Upward Basketball Staff at Church of the Redeemer desire to change this generation and recognize that every kid is a winner. Additionally, Upward seeks to strengthen children and their families by:
- Maximizing the families' schedules by having only one hour of practice and one game a week.
- Facilitating an atmosphere of sportsmanship by not keeping league standings in any division.
- Allowing all children an equal opportunity to play.
- Training coaches and referees to encourage and teach, not intimidate.
- Providing opportunities to see changed hearts and lives among children, family members, and volunteers.
Registration Fees:
Registration is complete for the 2012 basketball season. Registration will begin in September of 2012 for the 2013 basketball season.
