Grief is a natural and necessary response to the loss of a loved one—but you don't have to go through it alone! Our Grief Care Ministry offers a safe environment to find strength in the Lord during this difficult season.
Grief Care is a Christ-centered and biblically-based support group for those who are grieving the death of a loved one. It is a great place to connect with others from Church of the Redeemer and the community who are seeking support to move forward in their journey with grief.

The following verses express our desire to be a blessing as God has blessed us:
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
We use the GriefShare videos and workbook to guide us in this healing process. The teachings in these resources cover key areas related to death and grief from a biblical perspective, and participants have the opportunity to talk through issues and emotions they are experiencing in their own grief. Participants are encouraged to work through each lesson over the 13 weeks that the group meets.
The weekly topics for the adult support group are:
New Grief Care 4 Kids
Grief Care 4 Kids takes place on Sunday's from 3:45-5:45 pm. The children meet in Room 109 and their parents/guardians meet in the adult support group in Room 108. Grief Care 4 Kids is for children age 4 to 6th grade only. Using Growing Seasons, a Christ-centered curriculum designed to help children heal from the death of a loved one and other losses. Through practical steps and activities, Grief Care 4 Kids provides children with a safe place to talk about their loss and move them towards healing.
