Acts 11:23-24 tells us that Barnabas "encouraged them all to adhere to the Lord with resolute hearts; for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith." That is what the role of an encourager is all about!
Encouragers lovingly direct newcomers and new believers into opportunities to connect with the Lord and His church, to grow in Christ and serve in His kingdom. They convey a sense of God's grace and care. People who experience this care in a personal way are encouraged to take the next steps of discipleship and connection at our church, putting them on a pathway toward spiritual maturity and fruitfulness.
